Meet Snow Keim, Garnet Keim and Bob Husak. Put them all together, add a splash of sass and beer, and you get: The Blakes. One of Seattle's most talked about rock bands.

In my opinion these guys are just about the epitome of what rock and roll is all about: shaggy hair, wicked tunes, and an enthusiastic tambourine player with extremely tight pants.

After enjoying their A+ performance at KEXP's Summer BBQ, I had the (brief!) opportunity of chatting it up with them about everything from the origin of their band's name to how to poach eggs in a coffee maker. The Blakes are sure to steal your heart if they haven't already. I highly recommend that you check these guys out.
